We gave each student a backpack, notebooks, and other school supplies in the light that they accept these gifts as symbols for their continuing academic struggles to become leaders in their schools, their communities, and their world.

From these thirty-five, we also chose five particularly noteworthy students and presented each with five hundred RenMinBi, asking that they may use this small gift to facilitate them in accomplishing impressive academic feats in the future.

Operation Shandong was a memorable experience that has forever made an imprint on our hearts. It has demonstrated to us how, with a little help and enduring encouragement from compassionate donors, even those who are not so financially comfortable may one day ride on a pair of wings constructed by their academic spirits and soar out into the vast sky where their dreams, their lifelong ambitions, can finally come true.
